The update also provides new reactions, such as the ability to sit down or sniff the air, just time time for a holiday centred around feasting on delicious food.

What time will the Winter Update be released for Animal Crossing?

The release time for the Animal Crossing Winter Update is 17:00 PT/20:00 ET on November 18 in the United States, and 01:00 in the morning GMT on November 19 in the United Kingdom.

This is based on the announced release time of the update in Japan (10:00am on November 19), as previous updates have tolled out at the same time worldwide.

When are Turkey Day and Toy Day in Animal Crossing?

The release times for the two big events coming in the Animal Crossing Winter Update, Turkey Day and Toy Day, are November 26 and December 24 respectively.

Turkey Day will see the famous chef Franklin arrive in time to cook delicious meals – players can bring him the ingredients needed for his recipes. Toy Day welcomes Jingle the black-nosed reindeer who will ask the player to deliver presents to islanders.

Note that while Turkey Day takes place on American’ Thanksgiving, Toy Day will be celebrated the day before Christmas Day – this is appropriate in some cultures, and is certainly the traditional day around the world that presents are distributed by the Fatman.
