Greta Thunberg has made waves all around the world as a young climate activist who, at age 17, has already had a documentary made about her life.

The young climate activist announced the release of the film, and informed fans that the proceeds from the film will be going towards her organisation.

How to watch I Am Greta

I Am Greta will be available to watch from November 16th on Amazon Prime or Apple TV.

The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival on September 3rd, and is directed by Swedish director Nathan Grossman.

According to the website for the film: “Grossman follows Greta – a shy schoolgirl with Asperger’s – in her rise to prominence, and her galvanizing global impact as she sparks school strikes around the world.”

Greta Thunberg announces I Am Greta release

Greta Thunberg announced the release of the documentary in September, stating that she “really like[d] the film.”

She also explained that she “will not receive any payment” for the film. Greta wrote:

“B- Reel Films will dedicate half of the film’s revenues to my foundation and all of that will be donated to organisations and projects fighting for a sustainable world, defending nature and supporting people already facing the worst impacts of the climate- and ecological crisis.”
