Is Selena Gomez bisexual?

  • It’s unconfirmed whether Selena is bisexual.

The ‘Same Old Love’ singer hasn’t publicly addressed her sexuality, though there have always been speculations and rumours from her fans.

In a 2015 Q&A, PrideSource asked whether Selena has ever questioned her sexuality to which she responded:

“I think everybody does, no matter who they are. I do, yeah, of course. Absolutely. I think it’s healthy to gain a perspective on who you are deep down, question yourself and challenge yourself; it’s important to do that.”

Selena was previously rumoured to be romantically involved with Cara Delevingne and Selena had the best answer to the widespread speculation on the internet. She said in the same interview with PrideSource:

“Honestly, I loved it. I didn’t mind it. Especially because they weren’t talking about other people in my life for once, which was wonderful.”

Fans react to Selena’s role

Selena’s new role has become a hot debate on Twitter for some people.

While some are excited to see the actress back on the big screen, some have questioned whether she is the best choice for the movie as she is a seemingly heterosexual person.

One person commented: “She’s never even been seen in public dating a female or anything close to that. She’s only ever dated men. And she’s never said she’s Bi, she’s only said she’s questioned her sexuality that is not Bi…”

In response, another fan tweeted: “That doesn’t mean she isn’t? She doesn’t have to come out if she is. and just because she’s only dated men (publicly) doesn’t mean she isn’t bisexual. don’t invalidate and generalize the bisexual part of the community.”

However, it’s also worth noting that Selena has all the support from Silvia as the Peruvian explorer said on Instagram:

“My story couldn’t be in better hands. Thank you!”
