Rangers produced a quite stunning performance on Sunday afternoon, as they hammered Hamilton Academical 8-0 at Ibrox.
The Gers suffered heartbreak in Lisbon on Thursday night as they drew 3-3 with Benfica having been 3-1 up, and they seemed to take their frustration out on the Accies.
Rangers were absolutely rampant in the first half, as Scott Arfield opened the scoring before Kemar Roofe and Joe Aribo added to the scoreline in quick succession.
Aribo added his second before the break, and the scoring continued with Roofe bagging the fifth, Brandon Barker scored number six and James Tavernier found time for a brace to finish off an 8-0 thrashing.
Rangers were clinical and relentless, showing no mercy despite the game being over at half time, and Steven Gerrard will be delighted with that ruthless streak.
The Gers boss will also be pleased with the debut of Bongani Zungu, as the South African finally made his first appearance since signing from Amiens last month.

Zungu came on for Ryan Jack at half time, and made a real impact as Rangers fans took to Twitter to react to his performance.
Some called him ‘different class’ and ‘amazing’, even feeling that he is exactly what Rangers have needed in midfield as he made a ‘quality’ cameo.
