Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War is the upcoming instalment in the never-ending first-person shooter series, and there’s been a lot of details revealed about the game’s launch state such as the fact it will boast at least eight multiplayer maps at release. However, Activision have also shared the roadmap for Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War Season 1, and this mostly cryptic roadmap promises a Nuketown map as well as 2V2 Gunfight for Warzone.
Know that if you want to get Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War on current-gen consoles at launch with a free upgrade in mind for PS5 and Xbox Series X at a later date you will need to buy the Cross-gen bundle as opposed to the Standard Edition. The Standard Edition will be playable on next-gen systems via backwards compatibility, but the next-gen version of the game is said to pack some enhancements as evidenced by its increase in file size.
But, regardless of how you plan to buy and the game, below you’ll find the roadmap for Season 1 which promises a Nuketown map and 2V2 Gunfight for Warzone.
Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War roadmap
The Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War roadmap for Season 1 is as follows:
Black Ops Cold War – November 24th:
- Nuketown 84 map
Black Ops Cold War x Warzone – begins December 10th:
- More multiplayer maps and modes
- 2V2 Gunfight returns
- New weapons
- New Zombie modes
- Classified Warzone experience
- And much more
As you can tell from the above listings, mostly everything in the roadmap for Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War Season 1 is hush-hush.
We don’t know what the new Zombie modes, weapons, and additional multiplayer maps and modes will be, nor do we know anything about the teasingly classified Warzone experience.
However, with Nuketown 84 releasing on November 24th and the second part of the Season beginning of December 10th, extra content will quickly be added to the game after its release on November 13th.
