Ariana Grande recently called out a load of social media and TikTok stars for hanging out at Saddle Ranch during a pandemic. But what actually is the popular venue?
If you’re an avid TikToker, then you’ll no doubt have heard of Saddle Ranch. All the big TikTok stars hang out there, from Bryce Hall to Charli D’Amelio, you’d struggle to think of a social media star who hasn’t been there.
So what’s so special Saddle Ranch? Here’s the influencer hotspot explored.
What is Saddle Ranch?
Saddle Ranch Chop House is a Western-themed American restaurant in Los Angeles.
It’s located on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, and has been there since 1999. However, there are now two other locations in California, one in Orange and one in Valencia.
Every restaurant has a mechanical bull that people can ride, and it was named the rowdiest bar in the United States in 2013 by Business Insider.
The restaurant has appeared on many TV shows including Sex and the City, The Bachelor and more. In 2011 the restaurant also had its own reality show which aired on VH1.
Saddle Ranch becomes a TikTok hotspot
Over the past year, Saddle Ranch has become the place where social media and TikTok stars go to hang out in Los Angeles.
Situated next to the BOA Steakhouse, which is also popular amongst influencers, Saddle Ranch provides a more relaxed experience, and its outside patio area has become a popular hangout spot to comply with Covid-19 regulations.
TikTok stars like Dixie D’Amelio, Addison Rae, Josh Richards and Noah Beck have all been spotted there, just to name a few. But it’s not just TikTok stars who hang out there, YouTube star Emma Chamberlain and hot couple Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have also had dinner there.
It’s become such a celebrity hotspot that paparazzi often wait outside.
Ariana Grande calls out TikTok stars who hang out at Saddle Ranch
“Of all the things that we could have done, couldn’t we have just stayed home for a few more weeks like all the other countries that were fine, and are better than we are? Did we really all need to go to f***ing Saddle Ranch that badly that we couldn’t have waited for the deathly pandemic to pass?”
She continued: “We all really needed to put on our cowgirl boots and ride a mechanical bull that bad? We all needed that Instagram post that badly?”
When asked about Ariana’s comments, TikTok stars Addison Rae and Dixie D’Amelio both said that they agreed and thought that they were “fair”. However, Bryce Hall called it a “marketing move”.
