Tottenham Hotspur fans are backing a swap deal which would see them trade Dele Alli for Christian Eriksen with Inter Milan.
Calcio Mercato claim that Daniel Levy is looking into a deal, which could see Eriksen brought back to Spurs in the January transfer window.
With Alli struggling for game time at Tottenham, it is thought that the England international could be used as a sweetener in the deal with the Italian side.
And Spurs fans feel that they would be pulling off brilliant business, if they did manage to get Inter to agree to the trade.
It must be said that, at this current stage, any swap deal between the two clubs seems highly unlikely.
Alli may be struggling to break into Jose Mourinho’s side right now, but it would be a surprise if Spurs used him in a straight swap for Eriksen.
Eriksen proved his class at Tottenham over a number of seasons, but towards the end of his time at the club his form was extremely poor.
And if the Dane was to return he may well have a number of supporters to win over, before he was fully welcomed back.
