West Ham United have yet to get the best out of Sebastien Haller, but they could now move for his former strike partner.

Haller has mostly been a substitute under David Moyes, with Michail Antonio the main centre forward at the London Stadium this season.

That has resulted in some wondering whether Haller could move on, but West Ham are now being linked with his old pal Luka Jovic.

The Sunday Mirror (01/11, p61) report that West Ham want to sign Jovic on loan from Real Madrid, with a view to a permanent move next summer.

Leicester City are keen too, with Real keen to move Jovic on after a torrid time in Spain, having bagged just twice in 31 games under Zinedine Zidane.

The Serbian, 22, joined Real for a huge €65million (£58million) in 2019, having hit 36 goals in 75 games for Eintracht Frankfurt, but his future lies away from the Spanish capital.

West Ham may now hope to reunite him with Haller after the pair enjoyed a superb partnership at Frankfurt, but Hammers fans don’t think it will happen.

Some believe that Jovic would be ‘incredible’ and begged the club to sign him, with some on their knees for him to join.

Others just simply believe there is no chance West Ham would manage to pull off such an ambitious signing, having struggled in the summer window.
