Arsenal youngster Karl Jakob Hein was called up to first-team training by Mikel Arteta yesterday, Football London report.
Hein joined Arsenal back in 2018 and has made good progress since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium.
The 18-year-old, who now stands at 6ft 4inches, has impressed in goal for Arsenal’s development sides.
And it seems that Arteta was keen to reward the prospect with an opportunity to train with the seniors ahead of his side’s clash with Dundalk in the Europa League tonight.
It is unlikely that Hein will actually play a part in the game, with Alex Runarsson also waiting to make his debut.

But the exposure to first-team life should do the teenaged stopper good, as he continues to develop.
Hein is yet to make a senior appearance for Arsenal, and it will be interesting to see if Arteta choices to keep him around in the coming years, or looks to get him a loan move elsewhere.
