Dixie shares she had a nose surgery

On September 16th, Dixie took to her Twitter profile to reveal some big news to her followers.

In two selfies, the TikTok star is seen with a bandage over her nose and that’s left many of her fans concerned and confused.

“#selfie,” Dixie captioned her Twitter post, followed by another tweet which said: “ow”.

Why did Dixie have a nose surgery?

Dixie had a nose surgery following multiple incidents when she was younger.

In a previous live stream video, Dixie revealed that she was not sure what exactly caused her problem but she recalled a time when she was ice skating and fell on the ground.

Her mother Heidi then chimed in and said that doctors told Dixie she needed surgery not long after this incident.

Dixie continued:

“So either that…And one time, I was playing soccer and I got hit in the face and then I fell on the back of my head, had a concussion. Probably broke my nose.”

“Remember when you slipped in and fell in the shower?” her mother then added. “That was bad, you had a whiplash then.”

Dixie explained that she “waited to get this surgery” because she “wanted to do sports.”

Dixie talks side effects from the surgery

In her latest YouTube video, Dixie has opened up about the side effects of her surgery.

She explained:

“I cried right after surgery because I wanted to go home so bad. And I just wanna snort, I wanna breathe in so deep but there’s cotton on my nose. And my forehead’s itchy but it’s also numb.”

She added that her nose doesn’t hurt, however, she did have an “awful migraine”.

Dixie does look much better in comparison to last month when she had the surgery and she thanked her surgeon Dr. Raj Kanodia for “doing such an amazing job and making me feel so comfortable from beginning to end”.
