Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Crown Tundra DLC is filled with plenty of surprises – including the opportunity to catch Keldeo, the legendary unicorn Pokémon.

Players who are able to capture Terrakion, Cobalion, and Virizion will also be able to find Keldeo – provided they know where to look. The Iron Will Pokémon, the Grasslands Pokémon, and the Cavern Pokémon can be frustrating to find.

If you manage to track their footprints well enough, though, and if you travel to the right location in the Crown Tundra, you’ll have the chance to capture Keldeo.

How to find the Iron Will, Grasslands, and Cavern Pokémon

To find the Iron Will, Grasslands, and Cavern Pokémon in the Crown Tundra, you’ll need to hunt across Lakeside Cave, Frigid Sea, and Giant’s Bed, looking for tiny footprints on the ground. Find 50 prints in all three areas to catch all of these Pokémon, and unlock the chance to meet Keldeo in the Crown Tundra.

To start this mission, talk to Sonia in Freezington. She’ll tell you about the Pokémon tracks and send you to explore the areas.

The tracks are hard to spot and appear at random, so it will take a while to find enough, but once you’ve found 50 prints belonging to one of the Pokémon, you’ll get a chance to catch either Terrakion, Cobalion, or Virizon.

How to get Keldeo in the Crown Tundra DLC

To get Keldeo in the Crown Tundra, make sure you have Vizirion, Cobalion, and Terrakion in your party, then head to the small island in the river at Dyna Tree Hill and cook a curry using Pokémon Camp.

Once you’ve cooked the curry, Keldeo will appear in the middle of the island, and you’ll be able to trigger and encounter for the chance to capture it.

This rather obscure Pokémon location makes Keldeo one of the more obscurely hidden legendaries in the Crown Tundra, but once you know what you’re doing, it should be relatively simple to track down.
