The Greek mythology anime ‘Blood of Zeus’ arrives on Netflix this week, so let’s meet the cast of actors who have given their voice to our characters.

Netflix has a superb library of original anime content for fans of all ages to enjoy, but with such a large variety of content, it can sometimes be hard to find a truly unique show.

The streaming platforms latest anime series is Blood of Zeus, a series that explores Greek mythology and the battle to save the world from the demons of the underworld.

With fantastic visuals and a solid storyline, Blood of Zeus could very well become one of the best new Netflix anime of 2020.

However, it is the cast of fantastic voice actors that truly sell the threat of this impending doom that the characters face, but who are they?

Derek Phillips as Heron

Derek Phillips as an American actor who is best known for his roles in Friday Night Lights (2006-11) as Billy Riggins and Longmire (2013-15) as Travis Murphy.

He has also appeared in episodes of Prison Break, Grey’s Anatomy, Castle, Grimm, The Mentalist, Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. and Chicago PD.

Phillips has also given his voice to a variety of video game characters, including Lord Trevor Pendleton in Dishonoured, Cp. Chris Winter in Aliens: Colonial Marines, Elder Maxson in Fallout 4, Randall in The Walking Dead: Michonne and Jerry Anderson in The Last of Us Part 2.

Jason O’Mara as Zeus

Jason O’Mara is an Irish actor who is best known as the voice of Batman in the direct-to-video animated movie series (2014-20), Detective Sam Tyler in Life On Mars (2008-9), Jeffrey Mace in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (2016-17) and as Sergeant Jack Prendergast in The Siege of Jadotville (2016).

O’Mara has also appeared in The Man in the High Castle, Sons of Liberty, Terra Nova and Grey’s Anatomy.

Elias Toufexis as Seraphim

Elias Toufexis is a Greek-Canadian actor who has appeared in countless television projects and voiced a variety of video game characters.

His live-action accolades include roles in Criminal Minds, Shadowhunters, Smallville, Star Trek: Discovery, Supernatural, The Expanse and Flash Gordon.

Toufexis has also provided his voice to several Assassin’s Creed games, Deus Ex, Dying Light, Fallout 4, Far Cry Primal, Fortnite, Marvel’s Spider-Man and several titles within the Tom Clancy Rainbow Six franchise.

Claudia Christian as Hera

Claudia Christian is an American actress and singer who is best known for playing Commander Susan Ivanova in Babylon 5 (1994-97) and Stella in Look: The Series (2010).

She has also featured in The A-team, Matlock, Murder, She Wrote, Columbo, Grimm, Criminal Minds, Castle, The Mentalist, NCIS and 9-1-1.

Christian has also given her voice to a variety of video games, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Halo 4, Fallout 4, Call of Duty: Infinite War, World of Warcraft and Fallout 76,

Jessica Henwick as Alexia

Jessica Henwick is an English actress who fans will recognise from her roles in Game of Thrones (2015-17) as Nymeria Sand and as Colleen Wing from the Marvel TV series’ Iron Fist (2017-18), The Defenders (2017) and Luke Cage (2018).

Henwick has appeared in a variety of movies and television shows, including Spirit Warriors (2010), Lewis (2014) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), but she has also been cast in the upcoming feature films Godzilla Vs. Kong and The Matrix 4.
