Clinton Morrison raved about Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka on Sky Sports News (2:01pm, October 24, 2020).
The former Crystal Palace and Birmingham City forward, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that Saka is a “gem”.
Morrison was has been impressed by how the 19-year-old has been successfully converted from a winger to a left-back or a left wing-back by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The former Republic of Ireland international praised Saka for his performance against Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League last weekend.
Morrison said about Saka on Sky Sports News (2:01pm, October 24, 2020): “I do believe Saka was really impressive. He used to be a winger, and he has converted him into a left-back or a left wing-back, and he is always a threat. He causes all sorts of problems. I think they have a gem here.”
Saka has been superb for Arsenal in recent times and is a rising star in the Premier League.
The England international scores goals, creates chances for his teammates, has pace, and is a problem for the opposition defences.
According to WhoScored, Saka has scored one goal in three Premier League matches and has played once in the Europa League for Arsenal so far this season.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the teenager made 19 starts and seven substitute appearances in the league for the Gunners, scoring one goal and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
The youngster also scored two goals and provided five assists in six Europa League matches for the North London club last season, according to WhoScored.
