Who is Ariana Grande voting for?

The ‘god is a woman’ singer recently took to Instagram to urge her followers to register to vote.

“Turning in these mixes and reminding u again to register to vote if u haven’t already / to vote early,” she wrote.

Although there is no exact way of knowing who Ariana will vote for in the 2020 presidential election, the singer has previously showed her support for former Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

She tweeted in 2015: “yaaas,”, tagging Hillary’s Twitter account in her post.

And more than ever, many of Ariana’s fans wonder who she will be supporting this November following the release of ‘Positions’.

In the music video, Ariana takes over as the President of the United States and people have been searching for hints and teasers about her political views.

Ariana previously endorsed Bernie Sanders

In 2019, Ariana was one of many celebrities who endorsed Bernie Sanders. He used to be a runner for the Democrat Party in the 2020 election.

Bernie dropped out of the race in April this year and was succeeded by Joe Biden.

Ariana publicly showed her support to Bernie on Twitter and wrote:

“MY GUY. thank you Senator Sanders for coming to my show, making my whole night and for all that you stand for! @headcountorg and I are doing our best to make you proud. we’ve already registered 20k+ young voters at my shows alone. Also, I will never smile this hard again promise.”

Ariana’s reaction to the 2016 election

In 2016, Ariana uploaded a series of tweets in which she shared her reaction to the poll election result.

“Well this is utterly terrifying,” she tweeted and added: “I am in tears,” upon Donald Trump’s win at the time.

After that, the singer uploaded a map that showed how the electoral college might have turned out if people between 18 and 25 years old had only voted.

Ariana wrote (via Billboard):

“It restores my hope a little bit that this is what our generation’s vote looked like. It says to me that better times are coming….. we just have to stick together right now.

“Let’s please be active and vocal every day toward making each other feel accepted and loved for our differences. not just on election day. please. it’s the only way we will be able to get through what could possibly be a very dark few years.”
