The former Leeds United youngster Romario Vieira is finally back in football, two years after he left Elland Road.
Vieira was released by Leeds in the same summer his twin brother, Ronaldo, was sold to Sampdoria for £7 million.
Unlike Ronaldo, Romario failed to make a first-team appearance for the Whites, who signed the pair from Tadcaster Albion in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
And after what Romario describes as a ‘hard couple of years dealing with injuries and surgeries’ the 22-year-old is back where he began at Tadcaster.
But the length of Vieria’s deal with the non-league side has yet to be disclosed.
The once-capped Guinea-Bissau international had trials at Doncaster Rovers, Bradford City, Notts County and Gateshead whilst a free agent.
But he now has a chance to build up his match fitness and, hopefully, make his way back up the league ladders towards Leeds.

Ronaldo was loaned to Hellas Verona earlier this summer, with an option for the Serie A side to turn his deal permanent.
The latter played 72 times for Leeds, in which he scored or assisted six goals from central midfield, which is also his brother’s position.
