According to The Telegraph, the 20-year-old, a £20 million signing by Sheffield United earlier this month, is gearing up to start this weekend’s clash away to Liverpool at Anfield for what will be his full debut.

But with Diogo Jota coming in for £45 million, it was clear that Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards did not have plans to use him as Roberto Firmino’s back-up striker this season.

The young English hitman scored 11 Championship goals during a half-season loan at Swansea City last season, underlining his potential.
