Steven Gerrard has been speaking to the media ahead of Rangers’ Europa League clash with Standard Liege, and he’s saved some words of praise for Glen Kamara.
As quoted by the club’s Twitter account, the Gers boss said: ‘Glen has been fantastic for me since day one and he has grown, evolved and developed into a better player. He is in a fantastic place and playing with confidence.’
The 24-year-old is approaching two years at Ibrox since signing for the Bears in January 2019, for a fee of just £45,000 according to The Daily Record.
In that time, he has made 68 appearances for the Gers, scoring two goals and assisting three more while also picking up nine yellow cards.
Kamara has enjoyed an excellent start to the campaign, and deserves every word of Gerrard’s praise.

WhoScored shows that the Finland international has kept things ticking over nicely in midfield for Rangers so far this term.
Kamara has registered a pass success rate of 91.6%, while also averaging 2.6 accurate long passes per game.
On average, the Rangers No.18 has made 72.8 passes in each Scottish Premiership game this season, which is pretty good going.

His efforts have helped Rangers sit top of the Scottish Premiership, four points above arch-rivals Celtic having won the Old Firm derby recently.
Judging by his numbers so far this term, it’s hard to argue with Gerrard’s complimentary words towards the ex-Arsenal man.
