In a Facebook post shared to Primark’s official Facebook account yesterday, it announced the upcoming release of the shops Harry Potter themed advent calendar.

The calendar itself comes without any gifts or chocolates in, meaning buyers can fill it up after with whatever they choose and reuse it next year. “This will be a Christmas tradition you can continue for years to come!” Primark described in the caption.

Designed to look like Hogwarts, the calendar has the Hogwarts crest on the side, alongside assorted small magic themed designs, including Harry’s iconic lightning bolt scar.

Primark also released a successful Hogwarts Express advent calendar last year too.

How much the 2020 Harry Potter calendar costs

According to the Facebook post, the calendar costs £16.

Although it might sound like a bargain some potential shoppers have predicted that the calendar will end up as a more expensive resale item, commenting: “Be like the Aldi Calendars, sell out on 1st day of release and then you’ll see them on eBay for 4 times the price”
