“It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which hates a certain group of people and is infamously anti-LGBTQ. Nothing could be further from the truth.”

He then said: “I go to a church that opens their doors to absolutely everyone.”

However, even after the actor denied the claims it seems that people don’t believe him – and the drama has now resurfaced in 2020.

Twitter users call out Chris Pratt

Over a year after Ellen Page called out Chris Pratt, the drama is resurfacing on Twitter, and many social media users are ‘cancelling’ the actor over his alleged attendance at an anti-LGBTQ church.

One Twitter user said: “Just found out Chris Pratt is part of a Church that demonises Gay people. Just goes to show that people aren’t what they seem and that we shouldn’t deem celebrities as better people.”

“How am I just finding out Chris Pratt is a trump supporter, follows an openly homophobic church, and supports conversion therapy I’m actually sick,” said another.

Another person said: “The internet didn’t know Chris Pratt was a trash person who supports conversion therapy, hypocritical church oaths, trump, anti LGBT ideologies? where yall been?”

Social media users also claim that Chris Pratt is a Trump supporter

The church that Chris Pratt attends isn’t the only reason why he’s being ‘cancelled’ on Twitter, as rumours have also been spreading around social media that he supports Donald Trump.

It all started when directors of the Avengers just announced that they will be holding a fundraiser on October 20th with several Avengers stars in support of Joe Biden.

When, Chris Pratt wasn’t present as one of the members of the fundraising panel, people instantly began assuming that he is a Trump supporter.

At the time of writing, Chris has not categorically spoken out about who he is going to support in the upcoming presidential election.
