Leeds United fans are having to wait until Monday night to see their side in action, with their game against Wolverhampton Wanderers coming up tomorrow night.

The Whites have enjoyed an entertaining start to life back in the top flight, and have added another exciting talent in Raphinha.

Raphinha was signed in a big-money move from Rennes, after Leeds saw a deal for Michaël Cuisance fall through.

Leeds were trying to sign Cuisance from Bayern Munich in an £18million deal, which included a buy-back clause for the German giants.

However, the Daily Mail reported earlier this month that the deal fell apart due to an issue in Cuisance’s medical, with Leeds cancelling the move.

Cuisance later told Foot Mercato that he had no medical issue at Marseille, so he doesn’t seem to really know why his move to Elland Road fell through.

The 21-year-old joined Marseille on loan with a view to a permanent move, and he played a key role in their 3-1 win over Bordeaux on Saturday evening.

If Leeds fans wondered what they missed out on, Marseille supporters have been taking to Twitter to rave about the midfielder, branding him a ‘gem’ and the ‘successor of Zinedine Zidane’.

Others think he is ‘magnificent’ and ‘amazing’, with fans really encouraged by his debut for Marseille; only time well tell whether Leeds have missed out on a star here.
