Gary Lineker has praised West Ham United summer signing Said Benrahma on Twitter.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and England international striker has been impressed with Benrahma’s nice gesture towards the Brentford staff.
On summer transfer deadline day on Friday, the Hammers signed the Algeria international winger on loan from the Bees and are obliged to make the move permanent in the summer of 2021.
As reported by Sky Sports, before his transfer, Benrahma, who can also operate as a forward, arranged for over 100 Brentford staff to get bonus.
“Sky Sports News understands one of the other difficulties over the transfer was a loyalty bonus that Benrahma believed he was due upon leaving Brentford,” states the report on Skysports.com.
“This was not in his contract and Benrahma suggested the club give some money to the many support staff that aided his development during his time at Griffin Park.
“It is understood that over 100 staff will benefit from a bonus as a direct result of Benrahma’s transfer to West Ham.”
Lineker has praised Benrahma for his nice gesture, as shown below on Twitter.
Meanwhile, reported West Ham summer transfer Mario Gotze has been described as “amazing” by Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
Gundogan played with Gotze when he was at Borussisa Dortmund, and he rates the 28-year-old attacking player highly, as shown below on Twitter.
The Germany international joined PSV on a free transfer earlier this month following his departure from Dortmund at the end of last season.
The Express reported in September that West Ham were interested in Gotze.
