Harry Wilson and Harvey Elliott leave Liverpool

While there have been no incomings at Liverpool today, two fairly high-profile players have left Anfield.

Harvey Elliott’s loan move to Blackburn Rovers has been confirmed on the Championship club’s official Twitter account.

Elsewhere, Cardiff City have announced the signing of Harry Wilson on loan via their own Twitter account.

Crystal Palace and West Ham granted extensions for Jack Butland and Said Benrahma deals respectively

While the 5pm deadline is long behind us, West Ham and Crystal Palace are still trying to seal some deals.

The Guardian’s live blog (17:20) states that the Hammers submitted a deal sheet to get a loan deal for Benrahma over the line. They have until 7pm to do so, and the loan will contain an obligation to buy.

In Palace’s case, Sky Sports’ live blog (17:57) reveals that the Eagles also have until 7pm to complete their deal for Jack Butland.

Tottenham announce Joe Rodon deal

Tottenham have announced the signing of Joe Rodon from Swansea.

Jose Mourinho’s side confirmed the deal with a hilarious video, in which the centre-back’s Wales teammates Gareth Bale and Ben Davies get involved.

Sky Sports revealed in their live blog (17:31) that the fee for the Welshman is £11 million with add-ons.

Nottingham Forest sign Anthony Knockaert

Chris Hughton has marked his first two weeks in the City Ground hotseat with a marquee signing, and one he knows well.

Nottingham Forest’s official website confirmed the arrival of Anthony Knockaert on loan from Fulham.

The Frenchman was signed by Hughton for Brighton, and won the 2017 Championship Player of the Year award while at the Amex Stadium.
