The Monster Hunter film reveals Gore Magala in the new trailer and fans are over the moon. Let’s check out the Twitter reaction.

Many would argue that there are very few video-games which have translated well to the big screen.

Cinematic adaptations of beloved gaming properties have a tricky history and there are some notorious examples, from Super Mario Bros. to Alone in the Dark.

Recent attempts to capture the thrills of playing a video game include Assassins Creed and Warcraft, which were particularly divisive for fans of the original properties.

On the other hand, the recent and surprising success of Sonic the Hedgehog suggests that viewers can be won over every once in a while.

At the moment, admirers of Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise are anticipating Paul W.S. Anderson’s film adaptation.

It stars Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil), Ron Perlman (Hellboy) and more. However, surely the film can only be as good as its monsters?
