Netflix’s latest K-drama ‘Start-Up’ is only a few days away from premiering, but what date will the series release around the world and who are the cast?

From Crash Landing On You and Itaewon Class to Kingdom and The King: Eternal Monarch, Netflix has some fabulous original Korean dramas for you to enjoy.

Even within the past few weeks, we have had several hit K-drama’s starting on Netflix, including Private Lives, Record of Youth and Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol.

Now, we have another brilliant Korean drama on our streaming horizon, with the romantic-comedy series ‘Start-Up’ set to premiere this week.

In this article, we breakdown everything we know so far about the series, including the official release date, time, cast and plot.

Start-Up Netflix release date…

  • Start-Up is currently scheduled to premiere on Netflix on Saturday, October 17th 2020.

Start-Up will be broadcasting at 9 PM on Saturday’s and Sunday’s in South Korea, so fans will likely also get two episodes a week on Netflix over the weekend.

Whilst an official release time for episodes of Start-Up have not been confirmed, we are expecting episodes to releases at 7 AM PST (10 AM EST/3 PM BST) – as per the usual schedule for K-dramas.

Bae Suzy is a former member of the K-pop group ‘Miss A’ and has starred in a variety of movies and dramas, including Vagabond (2019), While You Were Sleeping (2017), Uncontrollably Fond (2016) and Gu Family Book (2013).

Nam Joo-Hyuk as Nam Do-San

Nam Joo-Hyuk is a South Korean actor best known for his roles in The Great Battle (2018), Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo (2017) and in Moon Lovers (2016). He also features in the upcoming Netflix series, The School Nurse Files.

Each of our characters has their own venture, but the group quickly becomes intertwined after they each begin their journeys to success at a place called ‘Sand Box’.
