Leeds United now want to sign Louie Sibley before the end of the domestic transfer window, the Yorkshire Evening Post suggest.

Leeds are still keen to add a midfielder to their ranks, after struggling to do a deal for one all summer.

The Whites have made some brilliant additions over the most recent transfer window, but a central midfielder has proved elusive.

It now seems that Sibley in on their radar, with the Derby County prospect’s performances in the Championship really catching the eye.

Sibley is still only 19, but he has eight goals in 32 appearances for the Rams to date, and could make an appealing addition to Leeds’ squad.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side appear to be targeting players for the future, and Sibley looks as if he could have a very exciting career ahead of him.

The only problem for Leeds is that it is unlikely that Sibley will come cheaply.

Indeed, when to Derby County’s official website, Derby boss Phillip Cocu said that he didn’t believe any club would be able to afford to buy the teenager from his side, which suggest the deal will be a difficult one for Leeds to complete.
