According to The Liverpool Echo, Norwich City are interested in signing Yasser Larouci from Liverpool before the summer transfer window in England closes on Friday.
It has been reported that Championship side Norwich are among the clubs interested in the left-back.
The 19-year-old is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season and has turned down the offer of a new deal, according to the report.
The report has added that instead of sending the youngster out on loan, Liverpool will look to sell the Algerian, described as a player who is “lightning quick” and has “a real good personality” by Liverpool coach Barry Lewtas on the club’s official website in April 2019.
Leaving Liverpool for good
Andy Robertson is the clear first-choice left-back at Liverpool, and the defending Premier League champions signed Konstantinos Tsimikas this summer.
This means that Larouci is unlikely to get much playing time at the Reds, and it would make sense for the teenager to leave Anfield for good and find a new club where he can progress and develop.
As for Liverpool, with the teenager having reportedly turned down a new offer, they are better off selling him now and getting some transfer fee.
