Reported Leeds United target Todd Cantwell has dropped a pretty big clue about his future on Instagram.
The transfer window closed six days ago without Leeds signing the Norwich City star.
But according to The Yorkshire Post, United, who can still domestic players for now, remain keen on bringing the 22-year-old to Elland Road.
Cantwell has been omitted from the last few Canaries squads amid speculation about a switch to the Premier League club.
But it looks like the player is staying at Carrow Road.
On Saturday, Cantwell posted an image of himself celebrating a goal for City, along with the caption: “I love my club. We rise together.”
Surely he wouldn’t have posted this if there was even the slightest chance that he could leave the club soon.
And therefore Leeds might have to bide their time and try again in January, if they are indeed interested.
