Micah Richards has suggested in The Daily Mail that Aston Villa star Jack Grealish would be an even better player if he was at Arsenal or Liverpool.

The former Manchester City and Villa defender rates Grealish highly, and during a conversation with ex-Chelsea and Celtic striker Chris Sutton for The Daily Mail, he raved about the attacking midfielder.

Richards believes that when Grealish plays with better players, it lifts his game, and has suggested that if he was at Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea or Manchester City, then he would be an ever better player.

The Englishman told Sutton about Grealish during a conversation for The Daily Mail: “I want to find the clip where you said, ‘Oh, he’s not all that! He’s not James Maddison! He’s only done it in the Championship!’ You know what you are like when you go on these little rants of yours.

“I told you, Christopher. I told you! He is a top Premier League player. When he plays with better players, it lifts him. Imagine if he was at Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City or Arsenal…”

Jack Grealish to Arsenal or Liverpool?

Grealish is a very good attacking player who can play more centrally or out wide, and he scores goals and creates chances.

The 25-year-old would be a good signing for Arsenal or Liverpool in the future, but it must be noted that the Gunners and the Reds do have a lot of attack-minded players already.

The Gunners signed Willian in the summer transfer window, while the Merseyside club do not tend to play with a ‘proper number 10’ anyway.

Grealish recently signed a new long-term contract at Vllla, and it seems that the England international will stay at Villa Park for now.
