Borussia Dortmund are open to handing Liverpool target a pay-rise and a longer term contract, 90 Minutes suggest.

Sancho was heavily linked with a move away from Dortmund over the summer, with Manchester United most heavily linked.

Liverpool now are seemingly keen on the England international, and are hopeful of bringing him in next summer.

But 90 Minutes claim that Dortmund are not planning to make life easy for any potential buyer.

They are already ruling out the prospect of losing him in January, and could give the 20-year-old a pay rise in an attempt to encourage him to stay.

In truth, Sancho’s long-term future does appear to lie away from the German outfit, despite their efforts to keep him.

And if he was to arrive at Liverpool he could be one of the club’s most exciting signings in recent memory.

Sancho, who has been labelled as ‘world-class’ by Dortmund boss Lucien Favre (Bundesliga.com), already seems to be one of the most dangerous attackers in world football, and he is still years off his peak yet.

Sancho could potentially be a part of Liverpool’s team for the next decade, if he was to join, such is the level of his ability, and his arrival would only make the Reds an even bigger attacking threat.
