Another beauty trend is going viral on TikTok – here’s exactly how to get the Belle Filter.

When Instagram first released its Story filters, everyone was obsessed with them, particularly loving the AR filters that allowed you to essentially play a virtual game on your screen.

However now, there’s a new type of filter that has taken over, and they’re called beauty filters. You can probably guess by the name, but they’re designed to enhance your appearance and essentially make you look more beautiful.

There’s a new one that TikTok users are absolutely obsessed with called the Belle Filter – here’s how to find it.

What is the TikTok Belle Filter?

A new filter is going viral on TikTok called the Belle Filter, and when applied it aims to enhance your appearance.

The filter applies false eyelashes, smooths your skin, thins your nose and plumps your lips in order to essentially make you look more ‘attractive’.

Beauty filters are all the rage on social media right now, with many people using them in order to feel more confident when posting online.

Whilst the filter is going viral on TikTok, you actually have to go on Instagram to get it:

  • Slide through all the filter icons at the bottom to the last one, a picture of a magnifying glass.
  • Click on this and press a second magnifying glass in the top right-hand corner to bring up the search bar.
  • Search ‘belle’.
  • Find the filter called ‘belle’ by ‘sasha_soul_art’.
  • Click on this and press ‘try it’.
  • Film your video, save it to your camera roll and upload it to TikTok!

Social media users react to the Belle Filter

Many people have been taking to Twitter to reveal their true feelings about the Belle Filter, and it’s safe to say it’s had some pretty bad reactions.

One Twitter user said: “I no longer want to look at myself in the mirror, only with the belle filter on IG.”

“I just tried that “belle” filter and…. we going to Mexico to get surgery yall who comin?,” said another.

Another person said: “The Belle Filter on Insta will be the end of me why can’t I look like that.”

Beauty filters have gained a lot of backlash online recently for creating unrealistic beauty standards and in turn decreasing people’s confidence.
