Liverpool’s attack is already widely regarded as arguably the best in the Premier League, and Sancho would only make them stronger.

The England international has been a real force in the Bundesliga and is regarded as one of the best young talents across Europe.

Sancho appeared to be United’s number one target this summer, and their failure to agree a deal for him would only hurt more if he did sign for Liverpool just a year later.
