Katie and Morgan’s relationship
According to news reports, Katie and Morgan got engaged at the time when Morgan was on his path to becoming a country star.
It’s unknown when the two started dating, but some of their earliest posts on Katie’s Facebook are from 2017. The two were also seen together on the CMT Awards in that same year.
After the couple called it quits, fans speculated whether Morgan’s single ‘Chasin’ You’ referred to somebody in particular.
However, Morgan previously explained that he wrote the song back in 2015 and had nothing to do with “chasing” someone.
In an article by The Boot, Morgan explained:
“I originally moved to Nashville in 2015, at the end of 2015, and I wrote that song pretty soon after moving there. It’s just a song that I wrote, just what I was going through, really.”
