Alan Brazil has suggested on Twitter that Erik Lamela should have been sent off for Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester United.

The former United and Tottenham forward – who now works as a presenter on talkSPORT – believes that the Argentina international should have been dismissed, just as Anthony Martial was in the 28th minute.

Martial was sent off after he dragged his face against Lamela’s face, as Spurs went on to win the Premier League table game 6-1 at Old Trafford.

The French forward was reacting to Lamela’s elbow to his neck, as reported by The Sun.

Big win for Tottenham Hotspur

Not many will have expected Tottenham to win 6-1 at Old Trafford, but the North London club did just that.

Spurs have done well so far this season, and Jose Mourinho’s side are certainly in the race for the Champions League places.

With a two-week international break coming up, Tottenham fans will hope that no one gets injured while away from the club.

Spurs will take on West Ham United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on October 18.
