Wondering where to watch the Minari movie? Let’s consider the film’s release date in the wake of the recently unveiled trailer.

If you were to compile a list of your favourite films of the 2010s, we’d wager that A24 will be responsible for bringing you a number of them.

The company was founded back in 2012 by Daniel Katz, David Fenkel, and John Hodges, specialising in film distribution and TV production.

Over the years, they’ve had their stamp on such acclaimed films as Under the Skin, Amy, The Witch, Green Room, Moonlight, A Ghost Story, Good Time, Lady Bird, Midsommar, Uncut Gems and many more.

Understandably, they’re an immensely popular and lauded distributor in cinephile circles and their product continues to demand attention.

Recently, the trailer for Minari has made waves, but when is it coming out?

Where to watch Minari: Movie release date announced?

  • There is currently no way to watch Minari and the film’s initial release date arrives on Friday, November 20th 2020.

However, IMDb notes that it’s only being released in Spain on this date, followed by a Netherlands release a week later.

Currently, no UK or US release date is available.

We anticipate that the film will be released in the UK as late as May 2021, likely arriving sooner in time for the Academy Awards on April 25th 2021.

It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival back in January and won both the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize and the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award.

Minari was written and directed by Lee Isaac Chung and centres on a Korean-American family which moves to a farm in Arkansas.

Amongst its cast, we have Steven Yeun, of The Walking Dead fame. He blew audiences away with his performance in 2018’s Burning too, along with roles in other films such as Mayhem and Sorry to Bother You.
