Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Marcelo Bielsa confirmed that Jack Harrison would miss this weekend’s game against Manchester City.

The winger is on loan from the Citizens, meaning that he is ineligble to face his parent club at Elland Road this Saturday.

However, Bielsa did confirm that Ezgjan Alioski would be lining up on the wing in Harrison’s absence.

Leeds Live quote the Argentine as saying: ‘When a player comes out of the XI and another player comes in, you have to mix a lot of common faces.

‘Harrison is very important. Alioski is able to do as well or better than Harrison. Then after there is a game where you have to show.’

As you can see in the replies below, Leeds fans on Twitter are disappointed that the 23-year-old will not be available to face Pep Guardiola’s side.

Their sadness is understandable.

Harrison has already been involved in two goals this season in just three games, netting a brilliant solo strike against Liverpool while whipping an inch-perfect cross onto Patrick Bamford’s head for his late winner against Sheffield United.

His directness would’ve been very useful against City, whose full-backs endured a miserable time against Leicester last week.

The Foxes won three penalties as Guardiola’s backline failed to deal with the trickery of Harvey Barnes, Jamie Vardy and Timothy Castagne.

In Alioski however, Bielsa has a player who is just as unpredictable, and could pose the likes of Kyle Walker and Benjamin Mendy all sorts of problems.

Let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have said about Harrison’s absence…
