The Cute Baby Face Filter is one that’s existed on the app for quite a long time, but it still remains a firm favourite among social media users.

It’s one of Instagram’s beauty filters, and when applied, it smooths your skin, enhances your eyes and adds small sparkles, hiding any visible imperfections when uploading things to your Story.

The popular filter has always had a lot of backlash on Twitter, as social media users think it distorts your real face too much and lures people into a false sense of reality.

One Twitter user said: “The insta filter named ‘cute baby face’ just doesn’t sit right with me.”

“I have a personal vendetta against the cute baby face filter on Instagram like I hate how distorting it is with a burning passion,” said another.
