According to Goal, Liverpool forward Liam Millar is now expected to leave the club before the transfer deadline.
The Liverpool Echo reported in July that Millar is a min in demand, and Liverpool had previously rejected permanent offers for him.
Clubs in the Championship and the Bundesliga want to sign Millar, but it was stated at the time that Liverpool wanted to keep hold of him and see how he progressed this season.
Now though, Millar is allegedly expected to leave, with Liverpool maybe having a change of heart having brought in Diogo Jota from Wolves.
The 20-year-old joined Liverpool from Fulham back in 2016, but has made just one first-team appearance during his time at Anfield.
He spent two loan spells at Kilmarnock, and Steven Gerrard branded him ‘electric’ back in 2017 having shown promise in the Liverpool youth ranks.
Millar already has eight caps for Canada, and he has the versatility to play out wide or up front, meaning he will be appealing to other clubs.
It seems that other clubs have been keen on Millar recently, and if Liverpool really have changed their mind, then bids could be flying in soon as sides seek to offer him first-team playing time that he won’t get at Anfield.
