It has been reported that Leeds, Wolves, Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United all have enquired about signing the former Celtic striker this summer.
However, according to the report, Pukki is likely to stay at Norwich until January at least, and the Canaries could then face a battle to keep hold of him.
According to WhoScored, Pukki has scored one goal and provided one assist in two Championship games for Norwich so far this season.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the Finland international striker scored 11 goals and provided three assists in the Premier League, while back in 2018-19, he scored 29 goals and provided nine assists in the Championship, according to WhoScored.
Good signing for Leeds United?
Patrick Bamford is the main striker at Leeds, while the Whites have signed Rodrigo, who can play upfront or out wide.
Pukki has been a success in English football, with his former Celtic teammate Scott Brown telling the Hoops’ official Twitter page in May 2020 that the 30-year-old Finland international has been “phenomenal” since he left the Glasgow giants after struggling at Celtic Park, as covered by HITC Sport here.
The former Celtic man would be a good option for Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds and would make the Whites better.
