Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have put their rivalry with Arsenal to one side to admit that their neighbours could be about to sign a proper player this summer.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for Houssem Aouar in recent months.
And according to L’Equipe, the 22-year-old midfielder has agreed to join Arsenal, while RMC Sport claimed that they’ve made a £32 million offer.
This is a player who Pep Guardiola lauded a couple of years ago and suffice to say that Tottenham fans on social media have acknowledged that Mikel Arteta and Edu could be getting a top star.

There is only 10 days left in the transfer window and at this stage, with big updates from separate sources over the past 24 hours, it looks like the North Londoners might finally get their man.
If it happens, it’ll be the second big transfer between Lyon and a North London club in a year after Tottenham broke their club record to sign Tanguy Ndombele for £63 million last summer.
