The Enola Holmes Netflix release time is here and Millie Bobby Brown fans won’t want to miss it. Here’s when it will be available to stream.
This year has been full of disappointment but fortunately we’ve had some great films to tuck into.
Audiences have been escaping the 2020 blues courtesy of a wealth of intriguing films, including The Invisible Man, Bill & Ted Face the Music, Tenet, The King of Staten Island and more.
However, it’s Netflix which has arguably delivered many of the year’s best films.
With such efforts as Uncut Gems, Da 5 Bloods, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, Extraction and I’m Thinking of Ending Things, there’s simply no stopping the streaming service this year.
More recently, they unveiled The Devil All the Time, boasting a fine cast which includes Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Riley Keough and more.
Film fans have been keen to celebrate its impressive ensemble but Netflix audiences are ready for yet another starry feature thanks to Enola Holmes…
Enola Holmes: Netflix release time
- Enola Holmes is available to stream on Netflix from 8 am on Wednesday, September 23rd 2020.
This information comes courtesy of iNews regarding the UK Netflix release of the 2020 film.
The film stars Millie Bobby Brown (of Stranger Things fame) as the titular character, an intelligent teen who just so happens to be the sister of renowned detective Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes.
Audiences will be whisked away to 1884 for an adventure in which Enola wakes to discover her mother missing. Defying her brothers’ plans to send her to finishing school, she ventures to London to find her mum, encountering plenty of inconveniences along the way.
Based on Nancy Springer’s book series of the same name, it’s sure to be an absolute delight.
Millie Bobby Brown talks Enola Holmes
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 16-year-old actress revealed how difficult it was to approach this rather physically demanding role: “I 100% wanted to do all my stunts. I don’t want to make anything easy for myself!”
Addressing the complications which such ambitions create, she offered some insight:
“I [had to] prepare my body to breathe and to move in the corset. It’s hard navigating the choreography that you’ve learnt so well in your trainers and your leggings and then switching up and putting an underskirt on, a skirt over that, a corset, then you have your petticoat, then you have your long socks, then you have your heels…”
The source includes that she trained for almost two months for the fight scenes in the film. Let’s hope audiences celebrate her efforts once the film makes its way to Netflix!
