Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Dele Alli from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.

It has been reported that PSG have opened talks to secure the services of the England international midfielder.

The report has added that the French giants, who reached the final of the Champions League last season, are ‘hopeful’ of signing the 24-year-old after he was left out of Tottenham’s matchday squad for the second successive game today.

The England international midfielder was not in the Tottenham squad for their Europa League qualifier on Thursday evening, and he was once again left out for the Premier League game against Southampton today.

Should Tottenham Hotspur sell Dele Alli?

Alli has not been at his best for a while now, and it seems that his progress as a footballer has stagnated.

However, the Englishman is still only 24 years of age, and there is every chance that he will get back to his best.

Of course, with Gareth Bale now on loan at Spurs, the North London club do have quite a few attack-minded players, but the Premier League outfit should persevere with Alli for one more season at least.
