According to La Razon, Real Betis are looking to sell reported West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur target Loren Moron for £17 million after recently receiving an offer.

The 26-year-old forward has been linked with a move ahead of the deadline.

New Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini, formerly of West Ham, left Moron out of the squad for the clash against Real Vallodolid with a sale dubbed ‘likely’.

La Razon claim Betis recently received an offer from an unnamed Premier League for £11 million.

A host of English clubs have been linked with him. Mundo Deportivo say Tottenham, West Ham, Newcastle United and Sheffield United are all keen.

But the latest from La Razon says Betis are instead seeking a £17 million fee.

The former second division player joined Betis in 2017. He is somewhat of a late bloomer, but last season he showed his capabilities in the final third.

Moron posted ten goals and three assists in 21 La Liga starts for Betis.

Standing at 6ft 2inch, the striker can mix both physicality with technical ability.

Tottenham have been on the lookout for an alternative to Harry Kane. Spurs struggled in Kane’s absence with injury last season, therefore a new striker is a priority.

Jose Mourinho has already brought in two new players from Spain in Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon. Adding Moron too could make plenty of sense.

But West Ham may also see him as an ideal recruit. The Hammers have started their campaign with back-to-back defeats, scoring just once.

Record signing Sebastian Haller has struggled to get going at West Ham, and manager David Moyes may feel another striker addition is necessary ahead of the deadline.
