Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips has responded to Eddie Nketiah’s post on Instagram after the Arsenal striker’s heroics against West Ham United on Saturday evening.
Nketiah came on as a substitute for Arsenal in their Premier League game against West Ham at the Emirates Stadium and scored what proved to be the winning goal in the 85th minute.
The goal saw the Gunners pick up all three points from the London derby courtesy of a 2-1 victory.
Premier League Table If Teams Could Only Pick Local Players
Nketiah spent the first half of last season on loan at Leeds from Arsenal, and his ex-Whites teammate Phillips – who is one of the best players at the West Yorkshire outfit and played a big role in Marcelo Bielsa’s side winning automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of the 2019-20 campaign – is happy for him and has praised him.
Phillips responded: “Here he is right place right time as always bro.”
Encouraging
Nketiah is a very good and promising young striker who has done well since returning to Arsenal from his loan spell at Leeds.
The 21-year-old is sharp, scores goals, links up well with the attacking players, and has a knack of being at the right place at the right time.
