And his goal for loan club Doncaster Rovers on Saturday proved as much.
The 19-year-old striker scored his side’s third goal as Rovers won 3-1 away at Charlton Athletic, and it was a case of the best being saved for last.
John-Jules, an Arsenal academy product, made one of his team-mates put his hands on his head in disbelief on 63 minutes when he collected the ball on the right-hand side of the box and charged through on goal via a nutmeg, before thumping into the roof of the net.
