Don Hutchison has suggested on Twitter that Thiago Alcantara would be a very good signing for Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The former Liverpool midfielder, who now works as a pundit for ESPN, has hailed Thiago’s passing range and his versatility.
As reported by BBC Sport, the Reds have agreed a deal with Bayern to sign Thiago for an initial transfer fee of £20 million.
Bayern Munich manager Hans-Dieter Flick has said that the 29-year-old central midfielder is set to join Liverpool, as quoted on Sky Sports.
Good signing for Liverpool?
Thiago is one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League, and the 29-year-old would make Liverpool stronger.
The former Barcelona star is a serial winner and played a key role in Bayern winning the Champions League last season.
The 29-year-old’s passing range, vision and ability to drive the team forward from midfield would make Jurgen Klopp’s side very strong in the middle of the park and would enhance their quality.
Liverpool will be aiming to win the Premier League title again this season and also compete in the Champions League.
