West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has praised Declan Rice on Twitter.
Gold has just sent a message on the social networking site congratulating Rice – who can operate as a defensive midfielder or as a defender – on playing his 100th Premier League game at the weekend.
The West Ham co-chairman has raved about the 21-year-old, as shown below in his Tweet.
Rice has been on the books of West Ham since 2014 and has established himself as an important player in the first team in recent years.
According to WhoScored, the England international scored one goal and provided three assists in 38 Premier League games for West Ham last season, while during the 2018-19 campaign, the 21-year-old scored two goals in 34 league games.
Big player for West Ham United
West Ham are a big and well-supported club, and for the London outfit to have a strong season in the Premier League in 2020-21, Rice will have to be on top of his game.
The Hammers kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United at the London Stadium at the weekend.
