Des arrived on ITV on September 14th, 2020 but just who is set to appear in the cast of Des episode 2 and who is new addition, Chanel Cresswell?

Thanks to the delays caused by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, ITV viewers have been starved of brand new drama series since April.

But now, as September gets into full swing, ITV is treating its viewers to the most engrossing and disconcerting drama series of 2020.

Des, which tells the story of serial killer Dennis Nilsen, arrived on September 14th and details the events that led to Nilsen being sentenced to life in prison.

The drama has assembled a stunning cast of actors but just who’s set to appear in episode 2?

Des on ITV

Des arrived on ITV on September 14th, 2020.

The three-episode series, shown on consecutive nights, tells the grim story of Dennis Nilsen, a notorious serial killer who was found guilty of murdering six people and the attempted murder of two more, although the total number of murder victims is thought to be twice that amount.

We follow DCI Peter Jay as Dennis Nilsen is arrested and evidence is gathered into his sordid deeds before the long process of a trial begins which is complicated by Nilsen’s association with biographer Brian Masters.
