Good signing for Rangers?

Described as “incredible” by Preston manager Alex Neil on the club’s official website in July 2020, Johnson is a very good attacking midfielder who would make Rangers a better team, especially with Joe Aribo injured at the moment.

According to WhoScored, the 27-year-old made 32 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for Preston last season, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists in the process.

Rangers are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, and a player of Johnson’s quality and experience will enhance their chances of doing just that.
