David Raya is ready to hand in a transfer request in a bid to force through a move to Arsenal, the Daily Mail suggest.
Raya has been heavily linked with Arsenal in recent times, with the Gunners thought to be chasing the Brentford goalkeeper as a potential replacement for Emiliano Martinez.
Aston Villa are pushing hard to sign Martinez, and although Arsenal don’t want to lose the Argentine there is a realisation that he could go.
Raya now is sensing an opportunity, and he is prepared to do everything in his power to force through a move to North London.
The goalkeeper, who is said to be valued at £10 million by 90 Minutes, could well disappoint Brentford by trying to demand a transfer.

That could well makes things easier for Arsenal, as they try to land him.
Brentford are keen to keep their number one, but if he makes a move to hand in a transfer request, then they will surely be more open to selling him.
If Raya was to move to Arsenal it seems likely that he would come in as back-up to Bernd Leno, rather than as a starter.
