Some supporters have raised concerns about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane’s fitness heading into the new season.
Kane started both of England’s recent Nations League matches against Iceland and Denmark, but the Tottenham striker was unable to get on the scoresheet in either game.
More worryingly, the Spurs forward didn’t quite seem at the peak of his powers.
Kane may well point towards a lack of service, especially last night, when Gareth Southgate deployed his side in an ultra-defensive system against Denmark.
But Three Lions supporters still feel that Kane could have offered more to his country.
And Spurs fans may well be concerned reading some of the reviews about their star player.
Kane’s focus will now turn back to Tottenham matters, ahead of their match with Everton on Sunday.
The Spurs striker has an impressive record under Jose Mourinho so far, and he will be looking to silence any doubts over his fitness on opening day.
